Things to watch out for
- Payment provider applications differ by company type and sector; prepare documents in advance.
- Never rely on the browser redirect alone to confirm payment. Unverified payments are a fraud risk.
- Card data must not be stored on your site; use the provider’s hosted form or tokenization.
- Depending on a single POS means sales stop during an outage. Plan a backup POS.
